Arup Ganguly, Partner
Prior to establishing KNG Securities, Arup spent over eleven years in the employment of Goldman Sachs across various divisions. It was during his tenure at Goldman Sachs that Arup gained exposure to the international convertibles market as a director in sales. Arup has been a member of KNG's Executive Committee since inception and has been involved in building the firm's profile with corporates and institutional investors.

Nick Nugent, Partner
Nick started trading warrants and convertible bonds at Morgan Stanley in 1985. He subsequently held senior trading roles at Paribas Capital Markets and Lehman Brothers. Extended stints in Frankfurt and Tokyo have given Nick an all round knowledge of both European and Asian markets. Nick has been a member of KNG's Executive Committee since inception and has been instrumental in building the firm's presence in the convertible markets.

Andrea Podesta, Partner
Between 1997 and 2005 Andrea worked for Morgan Stanley where he was instrumental in building the fixed income structured notes platform. In 2005, Andrea moved to Merrill Lynch as Managing Director and Head of EMEA Debt Wholesale distribution. While at Merrill Lynch, Andrea was also Head of Southern Europe Fixed Income Sales and a member of the sales management committee. Andrea joined KNG as a Partner in 2012 and is a member of the firm's Executive Committee.

Gabriele Balducci, Fixed Income Specialist
Gabriele started his career in 2004 in JPMorgan’s London Derivatives Solution Group, before joining Merrill Lynch where he was instrumental in developing a successful Italian franchise of institutional and corporate clients. In his senior sales role Gabriele has developed a strong track record in the fixed income product area. Gabriele will develop KNG’s solutions platforms with a particular focus on interest rates and ALM strategies for the insurance sector.

Marta Bielewicz, Head of Settlement Operations
Marta manages KNG’s settlement operations. Since completing her Master’s Degree in Journalism and Social Communication, Marta has held customer-facing roles in outsourced IT services, and managed service companies. Marta is a proven problem-solver, much appreciated by KNG’s client base.

Gwenaël Fort, Convertible Bonds Specialist
Gwenaël, a senior convertible bonds flow and sales trader with extensive special situations experience, joined KNG from Commerzbank where he specialised in European convertible bonds. Gwenael has previously held positions at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch.

Filippo Gromo, Fixed Income Specialist
Filippo has built a strong track record in the Fixed Income product area, marketing to Institutional clients. Subsequent to an intensive apprenticeship at an Italian Bank, he spent seven years at BNP Paribas credit and structure rates products sales. He gained a strong professionalism in the marketing process and how to satisfy client needs in their investment decisions.

Patrick King, Fixed Income Specialist
Patrick began his career in convertible bonds at Morgan Stanley in the mid 1980’s, before moving to Prudential-Bache. He co-managed a fixed income agency business, developing his trading expertise across many products, and is an Emerging Markets specialist. Prior to joining KNG, Patrick was Director of Trading at BNP Paribas PIM, where he also served as a member of its Investment Policy Group, and Director of Execution Services at Williams de Bröe.

Derrick Lockley, Convertible Bonds Specialist
Derrick is a senior convertible bonds trader with almost 20 years’ experience. He began his career with Salomon Brothers in 1993, initially trading Japanese convertible bonds. Derrick joined KNG from Salomon Brothers/Citigroup Global Markets where he was latterly Managing Director of European Convertible Bonds. Throughout his career Derrick has been involved in broad range of other products including credit derivatives, high yield and distressed assets.

Armando La Morgia, Fixed Income Specialist
Armando joined KNG from BlackRock, where he was an advisor . Prior to that, he was a Portfolio Manager of Asset Backed Securities at Hemera Capital and a proprietary trader at Merrill Lynch. Armando also worked in the structured finance groups at both Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley.

Matthew Marshall, Convertible Bonds Specialist
Matthew began his career trading Nikkei 225 Index options for Warburg in Tokyo in 1994. He went on to UBS, where he became a director in the Japanese and Asian equity linked derivatives products, working in Tokyo, Hong Kong and London. In his role at KNG, Matthew continues to advise international, institutional, convertible focused clients on opportunities in the Asian markets.

Dave Oliveira, Fixed Income Specialist
Dave has 18 years of experience in the financial markets. He started his career at IGCP (Portugal's national debt office) reaching the position of senior trader before joining ABN AMRO’s Derivative Solutions Group. He created a successful Portuguese derivative franchise and later worked in its corporate solutions unit developing risk management products for EMEA public sector entities. Dave has also worked for RBS and Barcap in London and is a seasoned structurer, and marketer of vanilla and exotic interest rate products.

Thomas Saler, Fixed Income Specialist
Thomas started his career in 2000 in the Fixed Income division at ABN AMRO, Frankfurt. After establishing a successful franchise in structured products he joined UBS Investment Bank, London where he was part of the global derivatives solutions team. In 2006 Thomas moved to Zurich within UBS as Head of Fixed Income Wealth Management Products Distribution. He was instrumental in rolling out the FICC retail product platform in Europe. Before joining KNG Securities, Thomas was a senior sales person responsible for the institutional client coverage in Germany, Austria, Benelux and Switzerland.

Prashant Sawant, Convertible Bonds Specialist
Prashant is an important part of the Corporate Finance team for Indian issuers. He has worked in India as an Economist with Anand Rathi Securities and as a Manager at Dun & Bradstreet India. Prashant holds an MA (Economics) and a Masters in Financial Management from Mumbai University and an MBA (International Business) from Griffith University, Australia.

Joseph Siu, Convertible Bonds Specialist
Joseph worked for KNG Securities in summer 2011 as an analyst covering European convertible bonds. He returned to the firm as a trainee sales trader after graduating with a BSc (Hons) Accounting and Finance degree from the University of Birmingham. He completed the Investment Management Certificate in 2010.

James St Johnston, Fixed Income Specialist
Having held various trading positions from 1986, Jim took responsibility for ABS, Hybrid Capital, High Yield and later EM Syndicate at ABN Amro in 1999 which he ran, on a Global Basis, until 2006. After that he ran Local Market sales, in Europe, until he left in 2007. In 2008 he joined KNG to help develop the Fixed Income Platform and returned in April this year having set up a number of 'Special Situations' Fixed Income Desks in the Agency Broking space.

Perikli Thanasi, Fixed Income Specialist
Perikli finished his Masters at the University of Genoa in 2010 with Summa Cum Laude after which he joined L’Oreal (Milan) in its Control Management area. In 2011 he spent time at The Royal Bank of Scotland’s, investment banking division which allowed him to gain a better understanding of the investment process in Italian financial institutions.

Jeff Williams, Fixed Income Specialist
Jeff brings deep experience in fixed income from both the buy and sell side of the industry to KNG’s clients.
